The hut is open from 5th of July 2025
Until then, the winter room with 8 beds is available. Reservations are required for the winter room.

A reservation is obligatory and binding.

Prices
Overnight stay with half board in the hut: CHF 80.00
Overnight stay in the non-warded hut (bivouac): CHF 30.00
No reduction for Alpine Club members
Bivouac
When the hut is not warded, the bivouac with eight beds is available. A reservation via the online reservation system is required for overnight stays in the bivouac.
The bivouac has:
- wool blankets
- pillows
- gas
- pans
You have to bring your own water.
GTC / Cancellation
Reservations can be cancelled without charge up to 48 hours before arrival. After that, the booked overnight stay will be charged in full.

Breakfast order
In order to avoid congestion at the ridge, breakfast will take place in staggered order. The hut warden will arrange the breakfast the evening before. Guests with a mountain guide have priority.
Information about staying at the hut
Welcome to the Mittellegi Hut. When you register, you will find out everything you need to know about your stay and where you will be sleeping.
During the day you can indulge yourself with drinks and delicacies from the daily menu.
We place great emphasis on fresh and local products. Dinner is served at 6.30 pm and consists of soup, salad, main course and dessert.
Do you eat vegetarian? This must be announced at the time of booking.
Do you have a food allergy or intolerance? Please let us know when you make your reservation and bring your own food if possible.
There is no wifi in the hut. Please inform yourself about the tour in advance. There is a charging station for smartphones.
You pay your consumption and accommodation costs in the evening. Payment can be made in cash or by credit card.
Hut rest is at 10.00 pm. A hut sleeping bag is recommended.
You will have been told the time for your breakfast the day before. Please do not arrive earlier than planned. After a hearty breakfast, you will set off invigorated for the tour over the Eiger.
